Name: Sarah Cushing
If you could write your own job title/description that best describes what you do, what would it be? I am a Physical Therapist who has an interest in women’s Pelvic Health. My job is to help individuals improve and overcome symptoms related to bowel and bladder leakage, constipation, pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, recovery after having a baby or an abdominal surgery, just to name a few. These are often embarrassing, not talked (enough) about, and have a great impact on enjoying life! I look at the whole person, mind and body, and tailor a treatment program to help meet your goals for all stages of life.
Best part about your job? Getting to do what I love every day and helping people normalize pelvic health! I enjoy learning from clients and working in such a supportive clinic environment
Hobbies: Yoga, camping, kayaking, gardening and spending time with my husband and kids.
Favourite book/podcast? My husband would tell you I fall asleep reading books…so, no favorite books that I have actually finished.
I love listening to any health/fitness/pelvic related podcasts.
Cats or dogs? Cats
If you were a superhero, what would your super power be?
I’m a mom to 3 kids- I like to think I am already a SuperHero with many superpowers I use daily!
